Why should I use DBStract?

DBStract takes a fresh approach to managing and organizing your data, easily and quickly.

The ideal way to keep data organized is with a database that keeps all your data grouped and easy to retrieve and add new data. This process of creating the database and programs necessary to make it work (much less useful) is a pretty tedious process that makes what should be a simple task (collecting and understanding information), not really worth the time, effort or cost of the endeavor. The entire process could take you or your IT person days, if not weeks.

Using DBStract, you can skip all the hard stuff (because we do it all for you), and start getting your work done.

Can I add other users to my account?

Pro accounts have the option to add other users to their accounts. This lets you share databases with your co-workers.

Depending on the databases your build, you can share contact information and knowledge about vendors, clients, leads, and others with your workgroup. Now the next time you need to contact a customer you can find out who else talked with that customer, what was said, and what was done.

Is DBStract secure?

Strict security safeguards are procedures protect your data. All data stored in our system, is encrypted so that only the user or workgroup using it can access it. We use a proprietary database system for storing your information securely.

Is our data backed up in case of an emergency?

Data is backed up nightly and written to multiple disks instantly. We can perform full backup recovery in the event of a system-wide emergency. Our hardware is also fully redundant so even if one disk or server fails nothing will be lost and the system will not go down. Our uptime is over 99%.

Is there a limit to how much data I can store on DBStract? How about how many fields I can create?

With DBStract, you can add as many fields to your tables as you wish, and we don't limit how many records you can store, we have users storing thousands of records each month in their databases.

Are there any long term contracts?

After creating an account, you can leave at anytime without any questions asked.

Can I add my database to my web site?

Yes, we provide easy copy/paste code for those of you that want to have parts of your databases integrated into your own web site. The data and the admin interface is still on our servers and you'll have to login in to DBStract to manage everything, but whatever you put on your site, looks like you're hosting it.

You have options to integrate your tables, both the forms for adding new data as well as the table data itself into your website or blog, and you also are able to integrate your reports into your website.
